That went swimmingly…
Congratulations, Theresa! This year, summer reading participants read for more than 404 hours! That’s amazing! If you haven’t turned in your reading log, you still can! You can take a picture of it and email it to firstname.lastname@example.org, you can put it in the book drop, or you can leave it with a staff member at the desk! See you next summer!
More details to come! Keep checking this page, or follow us on Facebook @theresafreelibrary
All events and crafts are free for children and families.
Children’s reading logs and ocean-themed stickers will be available to pick up at the library on Tuesday, June 14th. Participants will be asked to fill out a registration form with name, age, and contact information. There are incentive gifts for registering – squishy toys, shark gliders, and bouncing balls with toy ocean animals in them! One per reader, while supplies last. Stop by and take a look at our display cabinet in the vestibule to see the incentives!
We will have a children’s craft each week starting Tuesday, July 12th. Craft time will start at 1pm. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Registered readers will receive coupons to Twisted Ice Cream when they bring in their reading logs, starting Tuesday, July 12th. (Limit – 1 set of coupons per reader per week.) Registered readers will also receive tickets to enter for draw prizes. Winners will be drawn at random at the end of the summer reading program. Prizes will be on display in the library throughout the summer.
